The importance of the first five years.
At School House we support children’s natural curiosity by providing a wide range of experiences and plenty of positive interaction with well-trained, enthusiastic and professional staff. The first five years of a child’s life are the MOST IMPORTANT. We are here to give your child the support and care to help shape them into happy, confident children under the EYFS, a statutory framework as well as as a combination of the following pedagogies: Montessori; Steiner & Waldorf and The Curiosity Approach. These approaches will ensure your child gets the best start in life. As a fully qualified and experienced teacher, Sindy will ensure that all planning and activities offer a wealth of experiences for learning using natural resources, loose parts and sensory play. IF YOU TALK TO ME… I WILL LEARN LOTS OF THINGS! Children learn to listen and talk a long time before they learn to read and write and the importance of speech is valued at School House. At School House we value each child as an individual and operate a key person programme which will ensure each child has a close link to the adults who care for them and thereby ensuring each child’s needs and interests are being met.

Wonderful Learning Opportunities Outdoor
At School House we believe that it is essential that we provide a healthy approach so that your child grows and develops well. School House has two wonderful outdoor areas tailored to meet the needs of both the younger and older children. They also have access to Delamere Academy’s outstanding outdoor area as well as Delamere Forest which is on the doorstep. All our children have access to the outdoors throughout the day to ensure they get the fresh air and open space vital for a young person’s healthy development and learning opportunities. The children will benefit from dance, yoga, forest school and woodland activities as part of the curriculum too.

Unique, safe, nurturing, friendly and homely.
Come and look around our nursery which is homely, caring and friendly. Our team are always approachable and happy to listen. The nursery provides age appropriate rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Each of the rooms have recently been refurbished. They have areas for active play, eating, sleeping and quiet relaxing times. All the rooms are equipped with furniture and resources that are specially designed for the age of the child.

Healthy, nutritious, fresh produce.
At School House we will place a great importance on keeping healthy by teaching the children about eating a balanced diet and the importance of regular exercise. We will provide delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals and snacks. All meals will be made from fresh produce and prepared in the nursery by qualified and trained staff. We want to offer you as parents the reassurance that we will work in partnership when it comes to your child’s eating and nutritional development. We aim to encourage the development of healthy eating habits so that children’s mealtime’s are a relaxed, enjoyable group time with children interacting and learning valuable social skills as they do at family mealtimes.

In order for your child to flourish at School House it is essential that we build a strong, trusting, open and non-judgemental partnership with you, as the parent of your child. The nursery team welcomes parents as partners and this relationship is built on through a regular flow of two-way information. Your child’s key person will share your child’s learning journey regularly with you. We will also hold regular meetings with you to continue to share information as your child develops and grows. Passionate, dedicated, friendly, caring and loving, School House staff love their work and it shows in everything they do. Our goal is to make a positive difference to the lives of young children. Sindy Dosanjh (Director, Owner & Manager)
Qualified Primary School Teacher with over 25 years experience.QTVI
Sindy is the Owner, Director and Manager of School House. She gained her PGCE in Primary Teaching in 1994 and BPhil (QTVI) (Qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired in 2007 from The University of Birmingham.
Our Leader has a wealth of experience and expertise in the EYFS, Primary Teaching, Special Needs & Senior Leadership.
Prior to opening the nursery, Sindy has managed and worked as a Primary School Teacher (maintained & independent sector), EYFS Lead, Advisory Teacher, QTVI and Assistant Head.
She began her career in Dudley working as a Reception Class Teacher in 1994. She then moved to Yorkshire in 1997 after marrying and continued her teaching career and in August 2019 relocated to Tarporley, Cheshire with her family.
It has always been a dream come true for Sindy to open her own setting and here she is over 25 years later. She is fully committed to supporting her team, the parents and the children who attend her setting to ensure School House and its young children & staff can achieve the very best.
Everyone will benefit from her vast experience and enthusiasm for early years.

Our Nursery Team are the reason we will be able to deliver outstanding childcare. We have an incredible setting, with wonderful resources set in a rural area yet it is the Team who work with us that will enable us to deliver an Outstanding service to the parents and children. We consider our staff to be a huge part of our nursery family and as colleagues we aim to support, inspire and motivate them to be the best they can be.
We will be actively encouraging our staff to complete further education and continuously update and implement best practice at work through our carefully planned in house training days/staff meetings. We have a large range of skills and experiences in our current team which are led by our Director who has over 25 years of childcare experience. Sindy will continuously share her knowledge and experience with the Team. We also look to offer opportunities for Modern Apprenticeships so that we can offer a route to harness fresh new talent into the childcare sector.
